This 160 horsepower, Dakota Cub Slotted Wing Super Cub was custom built with lightness, safety and performance as the main objectives, as well as being able to launch similar to a space vehicle!

Used for: Initial tailwheel, advanced tailwheel, bush flying courses and ski flying (seasonal).

This fabulous light aerobatic airplane aimed at flight training came to us from New Zealand where it was the manufacturer’s demo plane. Very tough (+6g / -3g) and maneuverable yet easy to fly with excellent handling characteristics, it is arguably one of the best platforms to train in.

Used for: Spin training, upset prevention and recovery training, and basic aerobatics.

This recently restored biplane is the pride of the AFA fleet.

Used for: Advanced tailwheel and high-performance endorsement. Seasonal, dual only.
